Funds have been raised for Vic Robinsons Memorial seat, Vicks daughter Julie Goddard, attended Benington Recreation Ground Charity Trust, Committee meeting, where it was agreed to place a wooden seat, under the big tree where the old roller shed used to be, the seat will be fixed to a concrete slab,and a plaque fixed to the seat, will have the wording –

Vic Robinson 21st September 1921 to 9th January 2011 an innings well played.

At the meeting Julie said thank you to everyone involved, but she should not be saying thank you to Benington, its Benington who should be saying thank you, to Vic and his family, for everything he has done for Benington over the years.

We on the committee find it a great honour.
