On Sat 10th Sept 2011, a start was made at clearing the drainage ditches and carpark, at the Recreation Ground, also repairs, and clean up of the hut, or so called Pavilion, ready for this seasons kick off. work was also carried out on the Youth Football Pitch, where goal posts were erected.

I wish to thank Mr Ernie Draper, for the supply and operating of a digger. also the mens football team members, and S.T.Y.F.C, for their help.

I must mention Benington Recreation Ground Charity Trust Committee, who are tireless at working towords their dream. A brand new Pavilion. My thanks to you all.
