The Pavilion is off the ground this week with the steel frame going up as we speak. This shows the size and shape of the new Pavilion and the beginning of the new era of sports in the area.

The guys at Deville & Lear Ltd are working tirelessly this week to get the frame completed, feel free to pop down to the Rec and see them with cups of tea, as I believe they have been promised a non stop flow from the Head of the committee, which has allegedly has been more of a trickle.

We would also like to thank East Herts Council for their support in the form of some funding for this steel frame.

Without the support of the business and councils that we are getting we would find it much harder to get the Recreation Ground’s dedication to sport and the community back to the standard the village had grown to expect.
