We have been asked by Christine Brown and Harry Bott to publish a article in the Parish Magazine, about the Recreation Ground.

This year commemorates the start of the First World War, Benington Recreation Ground was formed in part, to Honour the young men and women who gave their lives in two World Wars, and to let Recreation and Sport live on, within the Community of Benington.
Benington Recreation Ground Charity Trust, have Plans to build a new Pavilion. Within these plans we wish to revive the History of the Recreation Ground, we feel this is a fitting time to start to publish the History in the Parish Magazine, also on our Website. The information will be gathered from our Archives, Minutes, Yearly Reports, Letters, News Paper Edits, Etc., this will take in all the important Dates or Events, through to our present day.
The first part of our History information will be published in next months Parish Magazine, or on our Website.
