A network of over 2600 Beacons will be lit by Communities thoughout the UK, on Mon 4th June 2012. The Beacon on Benington Recreation Ground is included in this network,Registered and requested to be lit. Her Majesty the Queen will light the National Beacon, followed by time slotted Beacon lightings over the Uk.

A Race night and Raffle have been arranged for Sat 12th May 2012, starting at 1900hrs at the Bell pubic House, in Benington, this is a Fundraising event, to increase the funding for a Funday for all.

The Raffle has some great prizes so far including bottles of wine/whiskey and some passes for Gambado in Stevenage But we are happy for more donations for the Raffle

The Races will be over the evening and companies/Clubs still have the chance to sponsor a race and have that race named after them. You will also have many chances to win some money on the races on the night.
